Wednesday

Wednesday not much happened. We walked to a sandbox and dug to the bottom. Later we walked to a bubble tea place called “Rin Rin”. it was interesting because there was a telephone on the wall that you order from, and then they open a flap put a basket out that takes your money and then the flap opens again and they give you what you ordered.

Under a dollar.

Tuesday Feb 12

Tuesday we went to a huge mall. We shopped for a while at Big C. We got some groceries for our place. The best part of the mall was KFC! The chicken tastes the best because the batter is soo good. Its very cheap. It tastes much better in Thailand then in Canada.

Saturday: To Bangkok

On Saturday morning we packed our bags. We travelled around Chiang Mai for one last time and got crispy pork and crispy duck and it is crunchy and salty and good and delicious. I was sad to leave, but happy to move on to Bangkok and see my auntie Tanya and uncle Rod who live there, and also my auntie Mona and uncle Darius and cousin Tristan and Bazil. The plane ride was very good and fun when we took off. That is my favourite part. The flight was 1hr. The weather was super hot and humid, 40 degrees. My dad started to get sick with a cold and flu. We went to our Air BNB. We were on our way to the market with my auntie Mona. We got Mango Sticky Rice, which is the best dessert/breakfast! Then we got some chicken wings that were spicy and some that were plain. They were seasoned and fried.

Friday In Mae Sai

We got ready early to go to Mae Sai in Thailand. Then we went on the highway for 1 hr

Our Thai friend and teacher Ping Ping met up with us and brought us to two gardens.

Later she took us to the mountains and I met a kitten.

After this we visited the border between Thailand and Myanmar.

Ping Ping took us to another garden.

This day was the best day of all in Thailand!!!

Thursday

We stayed at the pool for the morning. In the afternoon we went to the RTO office of Jehovah’s witnesses in Chiang rai. We brought our friends that work there a bunch of donuts. There we learned about how they translate Bible literature into the local languages which are Lahu, Akha. We got to play some ping pong there and also record a song in the recording booth. Later we ate some non Thai food at Rib.co it was delicious I finished my whole plate.
